Plot Outline
The last masters of the branch work in one of Austria’s final remaining sewing and textile factories. Here, the tranquil camera blends into daily events and taps into a space that is shaped by mutual care and solidarity. A rare, intimate gaze at the biographies of contemporary workers in times of a changing textile industry.
The screening will be followed by a talk with JMB Fashion GmbH's Managing Director Gert Rücker whose company is portrayed in Die Gebliebenen.
